To ensure a problem free outdoor event our ‘tried and tested’ solutions include:

 

1. We supply a professional team

 

Depending on the size of the event, we supply a fully trained team of people to supply LPG cylinders to all who require it. LPG cylinders are available for collection 24hrs a day from our base, and deliveries will be made every day from our onsite base. (The location is decided by the event organisers.) A daily onsite delivery eliminates the need for caterers to ‘stockpile’ gas cylinders, believing they may run out. With Festival Gas this never happens since we have a 100% proven record of supplying LPG cylinders to whoever, whenever, wherever. Nobody runs the risk of running out. We will fit in with any entry or onsite movement curfews imposed on vehicle movement over the event period.

 

2. GAS SAFE registered associate

 

If required (as at ‘Glastonbury’), we have a Gas Safe registered associate that at a charge to yourselves can be hired out to safety test all the caterers appliances before they commence business. This is a very cost-effective way of ensuring the safe operation of all catering units onsite over the event period.

3. Zero tolerance of LPG cylinders

 

Implementing a ‘Glastonbury Style’ Zero tolerance attitude towards LPG cylinders being brought onto event site stops the dangerous transportation of LPG cylinders and reduces the risk of any problems arising in transit.

 

It also has the added benefit of eliminating the problem of masses of spurious empty LPG cylinders being dumped at the end of the event allowing Festival Gas to collect all empty cylinders and leave the site “cylinder free” for the Organisers.
